By supporting this cause, we believe we can raise greater awareness of hunger in the U.S. and invite more people to join us in supporting this worthy cause.”
Avnet’s season-long campaign includes engaging employees in a variety of activities including food drives and fundraising efforts in the fight against hunger in their own communities.
“From its inception, Taste of the NFL has been driven by the commitment of a core group of supporters from the worlds of sports, food and wine,” said TNFL’s Max Kittel, director of program partnerships. “But it is our sponsors who, each year, create the extraordinary momentum that maximizes dollars and heightens awareness for the cause.” “Our partnership with Avnet is no exception as it not only demonstrates what a company can do through their commitment and creativity to support a cause, but also that there’s strength in numbers. We are thrilled to have this international, FORTUNE 500 company involved.”
