Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona Cardinals

LFitzgerald.jpgLarry Fitzgerald was the Cardinals top pick in the 2004 draft coming out early from the University of Pittsburgh, the third player selected overall. Fitzgerald’s 103 receptions in 2005 set a new franchise record and tied Carolina’s Steve Smith for the NFL lead. Teaming with teammate Anquan Boldin to record over 100 receptions with 1400 yards they are only the third NFL duo to achieve this distinction. The tandem is a potent one – two punch for the revitalized Cardinal team. Fitzgerald learned the tricks of receiving as a youngster with Vikings Chris Carter and Randy Moss during his time as a Minnesota ball boy. As an active participant in community and charitable events Taste of the NFL welcomes Larry to the team.
