Jared was drafted by the Ravens in 2007 and started as left tackle in 2009. It has been noted that Gaither is a big reason for the improvement in the team’s offensive line. He has advocated for the passage of the FIT Kids Act, federal legislation that would require school districts to report on students' physical activity and to give youngsters health and nutritional information. At 6'9", Gaither is one of the tallest players in the NFL.
