Chef Paul Minnillo began his cooking career as a youngster standing on a milk crate in the kitchen of his father's restaurant. Paul went on to train in New York and then in London with Anton Mossiman at the venerable Dorchester Hotel. He is the third generation in his family to be a restaurateur. In an elegant brownstone, Baricelli Inn has seven guest rooms, a formal dining room and a bistro, all reflecting Paul's love for the continental dining experience. Baricelli Inn has received many industry awards and consistently is ranked a top restaurant in the Zagat Survey. Since he opened Baricelli Inn in 1985, Chef Paul also has made good use of his business degree from Miami University of Ohio, starting the Baricelli Cheese Co. to airfreight artisan cheeses directly from France to one of the few specialty cheese coolers in the United States. He also is a consulting chef for Continental Airlines. Paul donates his talents to many worthwhile causes, including the All-Star Chef's dinner to benefit Share Our Strength.
