Dick Anderson - Miami

Dick Anderson

After being drafted in 1968, Dick Anderson was the strong safety for the Miami Dolphins for 10 years. He played in three Super Bowls, winning two, and was part of the 1972 undefeated team with a 17-0 record. Dick was All-Pro three times and Defensive Rookie of the Year in 1968 and Defensive Player of the Year in 1973. That was the year that he intercepted four passes against Pittsburgh, all in the first half of the game on Monday Night Football. Dick served in the Florida Senate from 1978 to 1982 and was named to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1993.
