Carrie is only the third chef to represent the Bears at the Taste of the NFL in its 19 year history. Most recently executive chef of the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, Carrie Nahabedian returned to her native Chicago for open Naha with her cousin, Michael Nahabedian. Her impressive resume spans more than 24 years and is peppered with names like the Ritz-Carlton, Le Perroquet, Le Francais, Sinclair's and the Four Seasons Hotel. In 2008, she won the James Beard award "Best Chef Great Lakes". Chef Carrie's cooking style is a combination of her Armenian roots and a California lifestyle that she enjoyed during her years as executive chef for the Four Season's Santa Barbara and Beverly Hills properties.
In 2009, NAHA was inducted to the Fine Dining Hall of Fame by Nation's Restaurant News, the industry magazine which selects the best of America for this award. Additionally, Mayor Richard Daley proclaimed September 22, 2009 "Carrie Nahabedian Day" in Chicago as she is inducted into the Chicago Culinary Hall of Fame. She is the first woman to receive this honor.
