Born and raised in Michigan's "thumb", Chef Bradley Schmidt learned from an early age the
importance of locally sourced products. He began his culinary career at a
restaurant owned by a certified masterchef where his appreciation for local produce grew as every morning they would pull
produce and herbs from the restaurant's two acre garden for dinner service. He continued his culinary education at Schoolcraft College in
metro Detroit, studying under some of the most recognized chefs in the
nation. Today Chef Brad hones his skills for the Andiamo Restaurant Group, metro
Detroit's premier Italian Restaurant group. He writes 'It is my honor to represent
the City of Detroit and Andiamo at this years Taste of the NFL. Salute!
